The task of Ukraine Sigmund Freud University is to form a new formation of psychologists and psychotherapists and to contribute to the restoration of the mental health of the Ukrainian nation. This will be the first dynasty of psychologists who will start a new history in the field of psychology in Ukraine.

The USFU will not only teach its students professional skills, but will also shape a modern worldview, teach them to analyze the challenges of today and draw up a vision of the future development of the individual, society and the state.

The educational and training program of the USFU is as close as possible to the program of the main partner of the university – the Vienna SFU and corresponds to the programs of modern European universities. The Rector of the SFU Vienna is proud to hold the title of Honorary Rector of the SFU.

The format of training at the USFU includes not only classical lectures and seminars, but also discussion groups, group work, and personal practical experience.

The university’s faculty is an international team of reputable scientists and practicing psychotherapists from Ukraine and Austria.

After graduation, our graduates will be full-fledged specialists ready for practice. A scientific and practical laboratory is being formed on the basis of the USFU, which will allow our students, in addition to theoretical knowledge, to gain practical hours in counseling, as well as involve our students in research activities.

Education at the USFU will be conducted in two languages – Ukrainian and English, which will allow our students to defend their Ph.D. degrees in Vienna in the future, participate in international scientific conferences and use foreign scientific literature in the field of psychology and psychotherapy, as most scientific works are not translated into Ukrainian.

The training program is designed in accordance with international rules and regulations, so if Ukraine adopts a law on licensing psychotherapy practice, our students’ education will meet all the requirements.

We are confident that our students will receive a high-quality education in a specialty that will be the most in-demand among others in the coming decades.

Upon graduation, the university graduates will receive a state diploma. USFU has the IV level of accreditation of higher education institutions.
