Peculiarities of implementing evidence-based psychological practice in Ukraine

The Department of Psychology at Ukraine Sigmund Freud University has launched a research project “Peculiarities of Implementing Evidence-Based Psychological Practice in Ukraine” (2024-2026). The project is registered with the State Institute of Scientific Expertise and Information (state registration number 0124U00723).

The aim of the project is to study the state of awareness of Ukrainian psychologists (including students) of the evidence-based approach to psychological practice and the current prevalence of such practice, as well as to develop and implement an educational model for training Ukrainian psychologists to conduct evidence-based psychological practice.

The mission of the Ukraine Sigmund Freud University is to shape a new generation of psychologists and psychotherapists and contribute to the restoration of the mental health of the Ukrainian nation. Ukraine Sigmund Freud University will not only provide its students with professional skills but also foster a modern worldview, teach them to analyze contemporary challenges, and develop a vision for the sustainable development of individuals, society, and the state.
