Seminar “Mood disorders in psychologist’s practice: spectrum, categories, understanding, intervention”
On February 10, Ukraine Sigmund Freud University hosted a seminar “Mood Disorders in Psychologist’s Practice: Spectrum, Categories, Understanding, Intervention”.
Lecturer – Andriy Bondarchuk, PhD, practicing psychiatrist, associate professor of psychology at Sigmund Freud University of Ukraine.
More than 200 participants attended the seminar, both in person and online, and received the USFU certificates of advanced training on the topic.
The seminar attendees received a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon of mood disorders, their types, manifestations, and treatment methods.
They talked about major depressive disorder, dysthymia, perinatal depression, pathological prolonged grief reaction, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, bipolar disorder, etc.
All participants noted that the information received directly from a practicing psychiatrist would be useful for their future work.
