During the seminar, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the central themes of phenomenological psychology, which forms the basis of existential, ecological, person-centered, and other psychotherapies.

You will also explore phenomenological procedures that enable the description and differentiation of various types of human experiences to better understand the client.

the distinction between a phenomenon and a phenomen;
phenomenon as the subject of phenomenological research;
procedures (phenomenological reductions) for identifying and describing phenomena;
phenomenological descriptions of existential facts: embodiment, spatiality, temporality, sociality, and language;
application of phenomenology for describing psychological phenomena: shame, procrastination, otherness, the uncanny, love, and more.

As a result of the training, participants will:

  • become familiar with the phenomenological tools for describing experiences, which help develop the ability to discern and differentiate experiences, both personal and those of clients.
