Dr. Mariana Velykodna, associate professor of psychology at Ukraine Sigmund Freud University, conducts a training for mental health professionals in Dnipropetrovs’k region on “Psychological support for women who suffered losses during the war.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the event, psychologists, social workers and psychotherapists have the opportunity to improve their skills in evidence-based approaches to dealing with normal and complicated grief. Considerable attention is paid to practical aspects that stem from the real-life experience of the training participants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training was initiated by the TAPS Charitable Foundation (Dnipro) and is aimed at improving the professional training of specialists working with traumatic experiences and losses in the war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
