Student self-government contributes to solving issues of education, self-organization, leisure, moral, ethical, cultural and sports development of students, helps them to take an active part in the life of the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Student Council organizes or helps to organize events to celebrate holidays and significant events of the university and the country; annually participates in many seminars, forums, and conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The student government promotes student involvement in musical, literary and entertainment events held at the university and in the city; in the professional orientation of future applicants, establishing creative relationships and cooperation with student councils of other universities in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representatives of student activists take an active part in university management: as members of academic councils of the university and faculties, delegates to meetings and conferences of the staff, they make important decisions on the university’s activities; approve expulsions and transfers of students; develop, discuss and approve draft regulations, orders, and instructions related to student education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
